4th Regiment
1 oz Rye Whiskey
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
1 dash each orange bitters, Peychaud’s bitters, and celery bitters
Prep:
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail coupe.
Pres:
Lemon peel
Absinthe Frappé
1.5 oz absinthe
1/2 oz sugar syrup
6-8 mint leaves
Prep:
Muddle mint at the bottom of the glass, add absinthe and sugar syrup on top, and pack full with crushed ice.
Pres:
Frappé, absinthe, or old Fashioned glass, garnished with mint and served with a straw.
Alexander Cocktail
3/4 oz VS Cognac
3/4 oz white crème de cacao
3/4 oz cream
Prep:
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain
Pres:
Cocktail coupe, garnished with grated nutmeg
Americano
1 oz Campari
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
Soda water
Prep:
Serve over ice
Pres:
Glass dependent on amount of soda water, garnish with orange slice
Aviation
1.5 oz London Dry Gin
3/4 oz lemon juice
2 dashes Maraschino liqueur
2 dashes Crème Yvette
Prep:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake to chill. Strain into a chilled cocktail.
Pres:
Cocktail glass, garnished with cherry or lemon peel.
