cyanosis, edema, pallor, increase BP, shortness of breath, murmur

longer labor, let baby come down, epideral
monitor intake high protein, low NA, monitor fluids
eliminate stress
at increased risk for infections

Higher risk for infection

Poor diet, weight loss long time, heavy periods, PICA, short intra-pregnancy
Anemia nursing interventions
Iron supplement
Educate on compliance
Seizure disorders risks

this pt. needs to consult physician prior to pregnancy bc most anti-epileptics harm the fetus
Lupus
Can cause PIH, PTL, PTD, AB
okay to get pregnant after 3 months of no S&S
consult physician meds are harmful to fetus
HIV
baby can have false positive after birth
6 months test again
Trauma
take care of mom first
