How is preeclampsia diagnosed?
A
Blood pressure >140/90
>20 weeks gestation and <6 weeks post partum
Proteinuria (300mg/ 24 hours, or dip 2+, or protein/creatinine ratio >0.3)
Proteinuria or severe features

What are the severe features?
A
BP >160/110
Platelets < 100,000
Increased LFT’s >2x normal
RUQ pain not explained by other things
Creatinine >1.1
Pulmonary edema
Headache not responding to usual therapy
Vision symptoms (loss of vision, seeing spots)
