HAMILTON Sector

A

HM
7,000-FL230 & 12,000-FL230

Controls the south, and southwest bound Toronto Pearson and Toronto
satellite departure flow into Cleveland ARTCC - both climbing into the high
(above FL230), and traffic staying low.

A complicating factor is separating
the southbound Toronto departure flow from the crossing east / westbound
traffic.

CYHM STARS (RNAV)

A

Hamilton airport has four RNAV STARS, two of which – AVSOX2 and COLTS7 – are flight planned regularly.

The TIKUM2 arrival may be flight planned on occasion for aircraft arriving from directly south of the Hamilton airport.

AVSOX2 - RWYS 06, 12, 24 and 30
COLTS7 – RWYS 06, 12, 24 and 30
TIKUM2 – RWYS 06, 12, 24 and 30

The fourth STAR – UDMIK3 – is flight planned for aircraft arriving from the
north of Hamilton, through the Toronto Terminal Unit, and has little impact on us under normal conditions since those aircraft should be below our airspace prior to the terminal boundary.
