what are the pre-completion steps?

Answer 1

• Completion information statement (same as FH)
• If completion doesn’t take place on the day rent is due, the apportionment payable must be agreed
• lease/underlease to be drafted
• send engrossed counterpart to T’s solicitor (if SC/SCPC at least 5 days before completion)
• arrange for client to sign engrossed lease
