Type 1 of Christian Prayer
Adoration: The person praying focuses on Gods greatness and power, and how important and special God is
Type 2 of Christian Prayer
Confession: The person praying focuses on what God expects of them, also what they have done wrong, to ask God for forgiveness
Type 3 of Christian Prayer
Intercession: The person praying focuses on the needs of others, and the people who need help and guidance , to ask God to assist them
Type 4 of Christian Prayer
Petition: The person praying focuses on their personal needs, and ask God for help and guidance
Type 5 of Christian Prayer
Thanksgiving: The person praying focuses on Gods love and generosity, what God has done for them and to say thank you
The Lords Prayer
The most important Christian prayer. The one hat Jesus taught his disciples about how to pray
How should you pray?
In secret and on your own - not for attention but for yourself
Don’t use meaningless words in prayer - God is so holy, so don’t talk to him like you would a regular human being
