What did Dubcek do to anger the ussr
1968 introduces a series of reforms that went against soviet-style communism including more
- freedom of speech
- Other political parties and travel to the west
- Aswell as a greater relationship
Why were the ussr threatened by dubceks reforms
Didnt want western involvment in the eastern bloc, dubcek promised he was a loyal communist and aould stay in the warsaw pact. Because of this his reforms were tolirated for 4 months, known as the “Prague spring”

Countries in the eastern bloc condemned the ussr for its acfuons.
The un requested a withdrawal of soviet troops but it was vetoed.
No countries came to czechs aid showing the failure to sport eastern countries under threat
