Conclusion
Results were not significant, therefore accepting the null hypothesis. “In conclusion, there is no cue dependency suggesting that salient pictures did not improve participants’ score out of 10 on the memory test.”
Points to consider
Possibly a ceiling effect as no scores were below 60%
Task was too easy and time given was too long
Demand characteristics could have occurred as psychology students are more likely to guess the aim and that it was a memory test
