Previous PPH
Prolonged labour
Pre-eclampsia
Increasing maternal age
Polyhydramnios
Emergency CS
Placenta praevia or accreta
Macrosomia
Ritrodine (used as a tocolytic)

Management of PPH?

A

ABC
IV syntocinon 10 units or IV ergometrine 500 mcg (constricts uterine arteries)
IM carboprost

Others:
B-lynch suture
Ligation of uterine and internal iliac arteries
