Hold Shift?

A

Holding this when you’re drawing lines, arrows or shapes will ensure they are always straight, it will align them at either 0,45, or 90 degrees.

Hold CTRL?

A

Rather than copying and pasting, hold this whenever you want to duplicate an object. Simply click on it while holding CTRL and you will notice a small ‘+’ sign next to your cursor. You can then drag the object wherever you want it and it will be copied.

CTRL ‘+’ or CTRL Shift ‘+’

A

This inserts Subscript or Superscript. This is important if you want to add footnotes or any other remarks to the text that you are writing. For example I could add superscript here ‘superscript’ or ‘subscript’ here subscript.

CTRL ENTER?

A

This inserts the title of the page and goes the the next text box if there is one. If you keep pressing it, it will add new pages. This is useful if you’re looking to quickly outline a presentation and go from slide to slide, headline to headline and all the titles. You can then take each slide in part and add the details.

ALT Arrows

A

Select any object on the slide. Press ALT and with the arrows control selecting other objects. It will toggle between them in the direction you choose.

CTRL SHIFT ‘’

A

This increase or decrease the font size respectfully. It’s great for quick changes in font size, rather than go all the way to the top bar.

A

Handy shortcut that toggles the text between all lowercase, all uppercase and the first letter uppercase (title mode). Get a grip of it and you’ll improve your typing efficiency.

A
