A

Husband gives wife fixed amount of money for housekeeping and expenses.

Eg Have joint account but husband control decisions/men control major financial decisions such as housing, holidays, expenses/women control decisions regarding food or children/wife income mainly cash so doesn’t need own account.

A03- feminists argue woman seen as inferior/incapable of having financial responsibility = gender inequality in family

A

Women have dual burden and triple shift role. Can do a paid job but still do majority of housework and emotional work.

Eg - Soothing emotional needs of children and father/cleaning and cooking / employed

A03- Radical feminists = women contribute most in family and men least but gain the most/ Women submissive and exploited
Functionalist = feminist put too much emphasis on women being exploited, ignore possibility women enjoy running home, raising children and being married
