A03- Marxist feminists = women have options/focus on other things not conforming to stereotypical role /women reproduce next generation of workers due to unpaid domestic labour
Individualism and changing position of women
Women prioritise career/ self establishment before children/ prioritise education – more job opportunities
A03- New right = Women need to get married and conceive children fufill basic needs of society/conventional nuclear family necessary = stable society/NR oppose modern society want to stick to tradition
Age of first marriage is rising
Women wont have children until marriage is secure/harder to find love/want to find the one/don’t feel pressured to get married quickly -look for the right person – not dependent on men don’t need marriage only want kids if married so takes longer to have children.
