meant to keep debts at 3% of GDP but Greece lies and reveals in 2009 that debts had reached 13.9% of GDP
Troika lend 110bn for austerity and greek debt was cut from 25bn to 5.2bn by 2011 however the Greek economy proceded to crumble, 30% of greeks in poverty and 1/5 can’t afford adequate food
