Define Legitimate Power
Agreement among members that people in certain roles can request certain behaviours.
Define Reward Power
The ability to control allocation of rewards valued by others but also remove it (negative reinforcement)
Define Expert Power
A certain person in the team becomes in charge because their high skills, experience and knowledge.
Define Coercive Power
The ability to apply punishment.
Define Referent Power
The capacity to influence others because the members have respect for the power holder.
