when the Monarch dies their prince are chosen by tradition. For example, in the UAE they have a king or crown prince who is respected by the citizens

in a police state such as North Korea there is a supreme leader who has so much control that the citizens don’t question him
how is religion a type of legitimacy
when a population have strong enough beliefs religious leaders can play a key part in running the country. For example, in Iran
How does a citizen give their consent in democracy
by voting and then respecting the result
is consent present within the UK today
yes it is by the fact that there are no revolts, people respect the decision made
what is a manifesto
the list of promises and changes that a political party will make if they come into power
doctrine of the mandate
allows you to carry out your manifesto due to securing consent via winning a majority of seats in parliament
delegates
someone carrying out the wishes on someone else’s behalf, the MPs act on behalf of the constituents
Trustees
when an elected official takes in the views of the people and then pair it with their own education which often works best due to their expert knowledge
Party Representatives
MP votes on party lines i.e. does what the party requests so they can implement parts of their manifesto, MPs do this to try and climb the ranks
