When was the Potsdam conference?

What was confirmed about Germany at Potsdam?
It was to be split into 4 zones. It had to also pay reparations.
What happened to all arms and leaders of nazi parties?
Germany had to be disarmed, the nazi party abolished and war criminals put on trial.
Who was Germany governed by?
An allied control panel. Each decision had to be unanimous and Germany was to be treated as a single economic unit.
What happened to Poland’s boarders?
They were moved west to the rivers Oder and Neisse, confirming the land taken from eastern Germany.
What happened to Germans living in other countries?
Germans living in Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia had to return to Germany.
What did Truman reject to the soviets at Potsdam?
Giving them land in Japan.
