Q
Endometritis

Estrus Detection
Intensity
Accuracy
Systematic Breeding Management Program
5
Q
Abortion
A
the premature explusion from the uterus of the embryo or non-viable fetus
due to impairment of the function of the placenta and damage to the fetus
6
Q
Non-infectious abortion
A
- early embryonic loss
- twins
- heat stress
- fetal genetic anomalies
- iatrogenic (accidental prostaglandin hormone administered)
7
Q
Infectious abortion - non-contagious
A
- disease agent may be introduced by circulation or reproductive tract
- sporadic abortion
8
Q
Infectious abortion - contagious
A
- agents are contagious and have predilection for causing abortion
- Infectious Bovine Rhinotacheitis
- Bovine Virus Diarrhea
