Postpartum management preeclampsia?
A
Peak postpartum BP occurs on days 3–639
44% of eclampsia occurs in the postpartum period, usually in the first 48 hours after birth
4hrly vitals or more
consider VTE prophylaxis
continue antenatal antihypertensives
NSAIDs are not recommended because of the risk of worsening hypertension and renal impairment, especially in volume depleted women
