When is contraception required after childbirth?
after 21 days
When should intra-uterine contraception be commenced, if this is preferred?
Immediately after birth or less than 48 hours after uncomplicated vaginal/C-section; otherwise need to wait 28 days

<6/12 postpartum, fully breastfeeding + amenorrhoeic
