Most common post op pulmonary complication? How does it present?

A

Atelectasis
Low grade pyrexia, tachypnea, tachycardia in the absence of infection.
Happens when the patient is too tired to cough due to severe pain. Give good analgesia and respiratory physiotherapy (force patient to cough)
