Mild: paracetamol
Moderate: paracetamol + NSAIDS
Severe: paracetamol + NSAIDS + opioid

Mechanism of action of paracetamol to reduce pain?
A
Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the CNS (a pain stimulant)

Mechanism of action of NSAIDS to reduce pain?
A
Inhibit enzyme cyclo-oxygenase (COX) which prevents prostaglandin synthesis (which causes inflammation and pain)
