What is baby blues
3-4 days after baby born can feel down

What is post natal depression
Feeling miserable for no reason Can't cope with pressure/ perform simple task Low self confidence Constant tiredness Difficulty making decisions Loss of appetite Angry as being mum not what expected
How to treat post natal depression
When recognised and treated it can be overcome
Self help advice
Talking to therapist such as cognitive behavioural therapy to stop negative thoughts
Antidepressants

Condition that can occurs 10 months after baby born. Mother doubts decision of baby and realised isn’t what she wanted causing depression like feelings
