Name the 1st and 2nd line rate control treatments for AF?
1st line = Beta blocker OR Rate-limiting calcium channel blocker (e.g. verapamil). You can not use verapamil alongside beta-blocker due to risk of complete heart block!
2nd line = Digoxin

Granulocytosis and myeloid blast cells
How can you tell between CML and AML?
AML presents more rapidly and with neutropenia and thrombocytopenia
CML presents with anaemia, splenomegaly and an increase in granulocytes +/- thrombocytopenia
