- A strongly held false belief that is not rooted in reality.
- Resistent to logic or evidence.
- Signifiantly affects the individuals thoughts/ feelings

- False sensory perceptions.
- Not present in reality.
- Usually auditory or visual.
Define thought disorder?
- An inability to organise thoughts clearly, resulting in tangential, incoherent or loosely associated speech.

Define experinces of passivity, influence and control (pic)?
- The belief that ones thoughts, or actions are being influenced or controlled by an external entity.
Auditory hallucionations?
A type of hallucination involving a false auditory sensory perception. This may include hearing sounds, voices or noises that are not present. These voices may comment on actions, give commands.
Visual hallucionations?
A type of hallucination involving a false visual sensory perception. This may include seeing people, objects or lights that are not real. (less common)
