Lies flat on back with table tilted
Head lower than feed

Reverse trendelenburg
Head is above the legs
Pressure area
Soft tissue compresses which lead to damage and pressure sores and pressure ulcers
Complications of pressure sores
Undue pain and discomfort
Extended hospital stay
Increase hospital expenses
Prolonged immobility
Risk of disease and infection finances
Deep vein thrombosis
Being in one position for a long time
Thrombi forming in deep veins of calf muscles
Can lead to pulmonary embolus
Which leads to respiratory and cardiovascular problems
