Example VFR position report
Alpha Bravo Charlie squawking 3103 two five miles north east new Plymouth at three one one, one thousand five hundred feet, via cost to Ardmore, eta two eight.
VFR reporting uncontrolled class g airfield
No mandatory requirement to make radio calls within vicinity of unattended aerodrome.
Good airmanship within 5-10nm and bellow 3000ft inbound to or in transit near unattended aerodrome to make radio call stating position, altitude, intentions.
Flight information service aerodrome
Required to maintain continuous listening watch on fq. Same procedure as unattended aerodrome, adresss with “Masterton” flight service. Required even without flight plan.
