Pineau advocates for a

Hint: Because you “Kan’t” use people as a means to and ends and must respect the person first. Trying to just get laid regardless of how the other person feels is wrong
What does the convention of dating confer?
Social meaning that implies a relatioship o friendship which means we should behave in a mode of friendship and trust. Therefore, forcing sex for selfish reasons without genuine consent or concern for the partner’s enjoyment is morally wrong.

Pineau’s bombshell: she’s really saying that
A woman can’t truly consent to what they aren’t enjoying, and sexologists say women whose partners are aggressively uncommunicative have little chance of experiencing pleasure, so even if a woman appears to be acquiescing to sex, or says she is doing so, in reality she is not consenting in which case it can count as date rape which is illegal. Under her model, if a woman were to complain after sex that she didn’t enjoy it because her patner wasn’t communicative and focused on his own sexual wants, she could accuse her partner of date rape even though she never told him to stop or indicated stop otherwise. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. No pun intended.
