What is birth rate, death rate and migration?
A
- Birth rate: The number of children born per thousand people in a year.
- Death rate: The number of people died per thousand people in a year.
- Migration can be internal or international.

- 2/3 rds live in rural areas due to agriculture being the main occupation.

- Sex ration fo population is determined by the number of females for every 1000 males.
- This helps in understanding the equality of men and women.
- The sex ration of India has been lower. States like Kerala and Union territory of Puducherry has had a higher sex ratio than other states.
