How does climate impact population distribution?
People seek moderate climates, not extreme ones like deserts or polar regions. Also not in places with extreme natural disasters.
How does relief impact population distribution?
People don’t want to live in mountainous regions because of harsh climates, no farmlands and terrain in the way for agriculture.
Instead people live in the lowlands with farmable land and more space.
How does drainage impact population distribution?
People want to live by water bodies because the water makes the climate more moderate by warming up the land during winter and cooling it down during summer.
How does socio-economics impact population distribution?
People looking for a better economic state will migrate to a place with more job opportunities, better income and better standard of living.
