Uneven as many areas of low population density as well as high population density. In the Scottish highlands the population density is only 0-25 peeps per sq km whereas towns and cities such as London and Liverpool have a population density of 2500- 5000. London has population 5000+ in centre. Northern areas of uk generally less populated due to amount of upland areas in North compared to south. England has highest population density Scotland lowest.
