Q

What is GSR?

A

Galvic skin responce, variations in the electircal characteristic in the skin. Controled by the sympatetic nervous system, ccan be activated by emotional and sympatetic responces.

Q

What is Irwin´s activity test?

A

A systematic observational procedure for assessing and scoring the effects of drug on the behavioural and physiological state of the rodents/mice. By using a subjective scale with scores ranging from 0-8, one can compare the differences between the control mouse and the two treated mice. Score values and their differences from control scores will indicate if the studied drug has a CNS-action, and in that case, also what kind of action it is.
