diplomatic power is a state’s ability to hold power through their alliances, alignments and international standing. It is essentially the power that they are able to receive through their relationships. (cannot be used domestically)

political power is a state’s ability to create change or action through internal legislation or white papers and executive orders in some cases. (can only be used domestically)

Cultural power is more passive; it refers to the appeal that a state can have through a cultural aspect of their country which can attract positive associations due to their distinctive cultural characteristics.
