Denying political truth is a fool’s game however political truth seems to me to
be a special species of truth borne of passions, emotions, normative beliefs and group advocacy rather than truth grounded in reasoning, rationality or empirical observation - perhaps political truth is similar to the unique species of truth known as religious or spiritual truth…
And perhaps like religious truth which can coexist with rational truth as a separate species of truth, perhaps political truth can do the same
Funny definition - Politics is almost always fallacious reasoning to move a political goal forward - it can be an end goal or incremental chain of goals - it almost always involves some form of power associated with or generated by group action - the fallacious reasoning almost always masks the true intention (increased power) aka political reality - what is the difference between - sounds like the setup of a joke - between political reality (real) and truth (political lies)
