Marxism

Class Struggle
Conflict between different social classes, particularly the proletariat and bourgeoisie, seen as the driving force of historical change according to Marxism.
Proletariat
Working class in a capitalist society, who do not own the means of production and must sell their labor to survive.
Bourgeoisie
Capitalist class who own the means of production and exploit the labor of the proletariat for profit.
Dialectical Materialism
Philosophical approach used by Marxists to analyze societal change through the interaction of material conditions and social relations.
Revolution
Fundamental change in societal structures or systems, often associated with Marxist theory as a means to establish socialism or communism.
Communist Party
Political organization dedicated to the promotion and implementation of communist ideology and policies.
Central Planning
System in which the government or a central authority manages and coordinates economic activities, commonly associated with communist states.
