A violent attempt to overthrow the government and replace it with something different.
Putsch
Where everyone in the country refuses to go to work until a change is made.
General Strike
Someone who believes that the wealth in a country should be owned by the state.
Communist
The judges in a country. In Weimar Germany, they tended to be more Right-wing.
Judicary
A set of political beliefs that think that order and discipline are more important than equality or welfare. At the extreme end of this area are the Nazi party.
Right-Wing
The book Hitler wrote while in prison. It contains a lot of his racist beliefs and ideas on how he thought Germany should be run.
Mein Kampf
A type of government where more than one party work together to run the country. In Weimar Germany, these were often unstable as political parties couldn’t agree on decisions.
