Devised as a means of dealing fairly with the aftermath of the war. Some points were quite specific and punitive towards Germany. However, there was also some general principles such as the establishment of a League of Nations.
Wilson’s 14 Points
A member of the SPD party, he became the first Chancellor in the new German Republic in November 1918 and its first President in 1919.
