In the Philippines - shoreline defence system design.
In Austria, the use of snow cannons and moving ski runs to higher altitudes. Diversifying tourism revenues e.g. all year round tourism

What is resilience?
Social and ecological systems that are able to both absorb shocks and recover from them?
Why are there limits to climate adaptation?
Social and individual characteristics. Uncertainty over the future and climate scepticism.
