11.01 Physician-Attorney Complaint Review And DPRC JNF cases Returned to Investigations (sec. 01-Roles & Responsibilites)
Review of jurisdictional (J) complaints and the steps to be followed to ensure a quality review of jurisdictional not filed (JNF) complaints and to ensure completeness of documentation in SQL. This section also speaks to the handling and processing of JNF cases returned to the Investigations Dept. by the DPRC.
11.01.05 - complaint priority qualifiers (sec. 01-Roles & Responsibilites)
Section establishes the policy and procedure for setting the priority level for all new complaints to be evaluated by the Physician/Attorney Investigators and subsequently assigned to the investigative field staff.

This section establishes the policy and procedures related to the roles and responsibilities of the Attorney Investigator who reviews Special Impairment Cases (Physical impairment or mental illness) received by the TMB from the Licensing Dept. and/or the Registrations Dept.
11.01.01 - Attorney Investigator Complaint Review of Remedial Plan Cases (sec. 01-Roles & Responsibilites)
This section establishes the policy and procedure for the review and processing of certain complaints using the board’s authority to issue a Remedial Plan. To clarify the types of complaints that are eligible for a Remedial Plan, see the attached penalty guideline.
11.10 Field Investigator Generated New Complaints (FO-1A) (sec. 01-Roles & Responsibilites)
This section establishes policy and procedure to be used by the field investigator for the initiation of a new complaint. Such new complaint does not have to be, but can be, related to an existing Respondent when new info. is obtained indicating additional, potential violations of the practice acts under the TMB umbrella. If the allegations are of similar nature, please go to policy 11.11.
11.17 Confidentiality (sec. 01-Roles & Responsibilites)
This section establishes the policy and procedure related to confidentiality as it relates specifically to the Investigations Dept.
11.21 Law Enforcement Security Assistance (sec. 01-Roles & Responsibilites)
To establish standardized guidelines for requests made to law enforcement agencies to provide security for TMB investigators when performing certain regulatory inspections/investigations.
11.02 Daily Case Assignments(sec. 01-Roles & Responsibilites)
This section establishes the policy and procedure for the daily assignment of new, official investigations to the investigative field staff.
11.08 Onsite Investigative Activities (sec. 01-Roles & Responsibilites)
This section establishes the policy and procedure for conducting onsite investigative activities.
11.03.01 “Go To Meeting” for P1 cases and P2 e-mail conferences (sec. 01-Roles & Responsibilites)
This section establishes the policy and procedure for the scheduling and documentation of Priority 1 “Go To Meetings” and Priority 2 team email conferences so as to maintain quality communications with the Legal staff, Investigative staff and Compliance staff.
11.12- Notice Regarding Investigations Exceeding 180 Days (sec. 01-Roles & Responsibilites)
This section establishes the policy and procedure for informing the Respondent and Complainant of the reason(s) associated with why an investigation is not resolved prior to the 180th day following the filing of the complaint and initiation of the official investigation.

This section establishes the policy and procedure for case openings, FO-2 (Report of Investigations) and the need for subpoenas so as to obtain complete and accurate medical and billing records.
