What’s a “Verse”?
A single line in poetry.
What’s a “Repitition”?
The repetition of the same or similar sounds which occurs in two or more words (usually in the end or beginning of a line).
What’s a “Rhyme Scheme”?
A rhyme scheme is a pattern of rhyme that comes at the end of each verse or line in poetry. (ABAB)
What’s a “End Rhyme”?
Rhymes with end rhymes.
What’s a “Stanza”?
An arrangement of a certain number of rhymes of rhymes forming a division of a poem.
What’s “Refrain”?
A poem that repeats the same verse from the end to beggining.
What’s “Meter”?
Meter is a stressed and unstressed sylabic pattern ofverses which gives us a melodious sound.
What are “Complete Rhymes”?
Complete rhymes are rhymes which the ascented vowel are identical while the word is different from eachother.
What are “Partial Rhymes”?
Also called “Imperfect Rhyme”. Which partially rhyme like “bag” and “bug”.
