Metaphor (1 Main Aspect )
A metaphor is a comparison that directly compares one thing to another than can exaggerate on what one is doing or feeling.
Alliteration (3 Main Aspects)
The repitition of the same sound or letter at the beginning or end of closely connected words.
Internal Rhyme ( 1 Main Aspect )
Internal Rhyme is when words rhyme together within a couple of lines or distanced by a few other words.
Similie ( 2 Main Aspects )
A comparison of one thing to another using specific comparing words: like, as and than.
Onomatopoeia ( 1 main aspect )
A use of a word that is spelt like the sound it represents.
Assonance ( 2 Main Aspects )
Assonance is the repition of vowels in words at close intervals
Couplet
A two-line stanza
Free Verse ( 1 main aspect )
Free Verse is a poem style that follows no rules.
Imagery
Descriptive and figurative language describing an area normally using the 5 senses.
Quatrain ( 1 main aspect )
A four- line stanza
Stanza ( 1 main aspect )
A group of lines in a poem, similar to a paraph but not the same thing.
