Q

what do you consider when performing a narrative poem

A

When performing a narrative poem a speaker considers the communication an characterization of the story, movement and gesture can often be used but not if it is at the expense of the style of the verse, eye contact is essential for narration to connect to an engage with your audience as you telling a story but when characterization is included do you consider who is speaking to whom and very eye contact appropriately, a strong vocal delivery as you are creating characters through tonal colour and body language, varying pace to create suspense and use plenty of light and shade in your voice as with all work the body should be relaxed and articulation crisp and clear
