Reformed- salvation is strictly an operation of the HS
Arminian- salvation is closer to the common grace of God

cessationist- tongues ceased in church history, it is a well-established fact that miraculous gifts died out

pauo means something will act upon it to make it cease and is used for prophecy and knowledge
katargeo means it will pass away by itself and is used for tongues
