Needed to make amino acids and therefore proteins and enzymes. Needed for dna and hormones (nitrogenous base)

Chlorosis (yellow leaves) at the tips of older leaves, stunted growth (small).

A
Combines with pectin in hold middle lamella to form calcium pectate to hold the plant cell together, role in membrane permeability.

A
Crinkling of young leaves, reduced flowering or fruiting.
