plant Cell Division Flashcards
What happens to the nucleus in a plant cell division?
It grows bigger
What happens to the vacuole?
It dissappears, once the nucleus grows bigger.
What happens to the cell wall and what does it do?
New cells walls grow which seperates the two daughter cells.
What does the small vacuoles do?
Small vacuoles joins to produce a large vacuole. And is formed in one of the daughter cells.
What happens to the chloroplast?
Chloroplast is also divides equally between the two daughter cells.
What happens to the other daughter cell?
It prepares to divide further
Draw a diagram of a plant cell division
Parent cell➡Cell decides, vacuole dissappears and new cell walls will separate the daughter cell➡ small vacuoles starts to appear in one of the daughter cells➡a large vacuole produced by the small Vacuole. And the second cell divides again.
