Plant Cell Flashcards
What are the 3 organells that an animal cell does not have:
Vacuole, cell wall and chloroplast
What is the function of the cell wall
The cell wall supports the plant
Why is a cell wall rigid
A plants cell wall is made out a woody cellulose. The cellulose molecules are derived by sugar molecules which makes the cell wall rigid.
What is the vacuole function?
The vacuole is the storage of the cell. It stories food, water, and waste.
What Is a vacuole made up of?
It is made up of a watery solution, which actually helps the structure of the plant.
What Is the chloroplast function?
It contains a green chemical called a chloropyll which absorbs sunlight to make food for the plant.
What is photosynthesis (Expanded Explaination)
It’s when the chloroplast absorbs sunlight and carbon dioxide, then absorbs the water in the soil which produces sugar. Then the sugar produces into oxygen
