Diffusion Flashcards
What is diffision?
Diffision is when goes to high concentration to low concentration.
How does diffusion work in the cell membrane?
The movement of materials in the cell membrane is diffision.
What is diffusion driven by?
Diffusion is driven by concentration.
How does diffusion diffuse?
When a chemical has a high concentration it will diffuse which will move to a side of low concentration.
Why does diffusion move a lot in our bodies?
Because of the substances that are getting separated by our cell membranes
What us osmosis?
High concentration of water to low concentration of water
Why do plants need water?
Plants need water, because when water is poured, high concentration of water is going to the soil. This is related to osmosis, because soil has a higher concentration than the root hair cell(which is in the other side. This will cause to diffuse, and the high concentration of water will move across the cell membrane to the root hair cells.
