  • > Roots are branched and spread out
  • > Have Root Hair Cells which have a large surface area
  • > xylem cells create xylem vessels, hollow and waterproof tubes. It is also rigid to hold in place. Transport minerals to all the plant.
  • > epidermis cells-> creates cuticle which is waterproof so the plant does not lose water

  • > keeping leaves cool
  • > filling up of cells to keep expanded and firm. If not, it wilts.
