Planning work working in high temperatures and heat

How do you plan work when you have 40° temperatures?

A

In a project we did summer 2022.

The plasterer kindly agreed to be onsite at 4:30 am until 11 am. That was our work around on that.

Q

What issues did you have working in hot temperature

A
  1. The plaster cured too quickly. Cracks appeared which meant remedial works and loss of time and money.
  2. We were not able to use the roofing panels as they were too hot.
  3. They were also issue with warping on the panels that were not bolted to the structure or fit properly.
  4. The panels waiting in the yard to be erected were also warped.
