What are Revision Clouds?

A

Changes that have been made to drawings usually accompanied by an addendum or bulletin narrative describing the extent of the revision

What is on a foundation plan?

A

Shows the extent of footings, piers, columns & foundation walls. Also any basement spaces, crawl spaces or slab on grade areas

What is on a floor plan?

A

The buildings layout from top view. If there are multiple levels then there will be multiple sheets. Usually show all doors and windows, fixtures, built-ins and stairs

What is a reflected ceiling plan?

A

A top view of all elements that go into a ceiling such as lighting fixture layout, mechanical diffusers, sprinklers and ceiling heights

What is on the framing plan?

A

This shows the material, size, space, location & quantity of the framing structure of the building. Usually only included for wood construction projects

What is on the exterior elevation plan?

A

All sides of the exterior of the building from north, south, east and west directions. Floor to floor heights, roof slopes, overhang dimensions, etc.

What is on the interior elevation plan?

A

Illustrate interior spaces where more information is needed than can be provided on floor plans. Kitchens and bathrooms usually to show mounting heights, tile locations and cabinet layouts

A

Detailed information regarding size, type, style, fire rating and construction
