Q

What is content plagiarism?

A

Content plagiarism is using someone else’s work or ideas and presenting it as your own.
It occurs when in-text citations are missing, or if the source is not in the reference list. It can also occur when the in-text citations are unclear, for example when the source is only given after several sentences of content or when several sources ar provided together. Lastly it can occur when there is a mismatch in the in-text citations and the reference list. Like when a source is mentioned in-text when it is not in the reference list or when the source is in the reference list but not in the text itself.
